Hey hope you’re doing awesome and I’m so happy to be writing this post right now. You see I started this blog about a year a go last August not knowing where it would go, how to blog, how to write a good article, or really just anything about this whole industry. Since then there have been a lot of ups and downs. If you have been a reader for a long time then you’ll remember the old blog layout. It was old and boring looking. It was all black with some red and yellows thrown in. No graphics and no real personality. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if you didn’t remember it cause the look and layout completely sucked.
After a few months I got wise and decided to change the entire look and layout so me and my good friend worked non stop for almost 16 hours at first and then a few more days after to changing the entire thing. He created all the graphics and I had the ideas. As you can tell I’m a complete techie dunce so I didn’t know what to do.
From there things started coming together and we finally got the look that we wanted. At first there wasn’t many people reading this blog. We only had around 40-50 visitors a day. Here is a screenshot to show proof. And this was about on average for many, many months.

Since late March and early April things all of a sudden started picking up. We were now getting all of a sudden 100 visitors a day then steadily it climbed to 200 visitors a day. I was absolutely ecstatic. I couldn’t believe that at one point 200+ people were coming to this blog that I created to help people on a constant day and learning from what I wrote. I thought it was awesome and very powerful. It was also fulfilling, almost a natural high to be helping people all over the world.
Now lets fast forward to present time. Check out this screen shot below…

Yesterday Blowtorch Belly Fat got 1,251 people to visit. Now the site is averaging around 1,000 hits a day and steadily climbing. It was a huge goal of mine to get this blog up to 1,000 visitors a day and now it is here. The next goal will be 10,000 a day, but that won’t be for sometime. I am extremely elated and happy that this is happening and would have never known that this day would actually come.
I want to reach out and say how grateful and appreciative I am of you for helping me achieve this goal. I really am. Without you, I couldn’t have done it. And because of this milestone I want to ask you in the comment section below to write down:
1. How has this blog helped you out and what is the most that you got out of it?
2. What would you like to see in the future? More workouts, videos, fat loss workouts, diet related stuff…
Thanks,
-Jared

Perhaps you already discussed this but …
I delivered an 11lb large baby last year and since May I started working out. I’ve used some of your techniques and others and lost a few inches and lbs. hooray! I can feel ab muscles, I never knew I had, get firm but the belly skin is feeling loose on me and still ugly. Is there a way to tone the belly flab?

I appreciate your information but was really put off by a comment you made last week that ellipticals “suck.” I am 52, with arthritis in my knees, back and hips and I have just terrible flat feet. To top it off, I am a teacher and I work on my feet all day. In July I bought an elliptical and I have had great results. The first time I got on it, I made it five minutes. I can now stay on 30 or more minutes and have included intervals where I crank the resistance up and the speed up. I am getting a great workout. I can’t use a treadmill. My feet and knees would be killing me making me unable to even do my job. In other words, not all of us are in the position to run sprints and run at top speeds on the treadmill. Sometimes I wish you recognized that there are a lot of people out there (aging baby boomers are a huge market) that may not be able to do some of the things that you can do. Thanks.

The elliptical compared to a treadmill, sprints, hill sprints, outdoor running does not come close. However, yes it is a good piece of equipment for people who have those sort of issues and need to do some form of cardiovascular exercise. I obviously can’t speak for everyone when I write certain things. That would be impossible. Please do not take personal offense. Glad it is working out for you.
