Insulin Resistance Diet
Insulin resistance is nothing more than when your body cannot do what it’s supposed to do when insulin is present in your blood. Usually this coincides with high levels of blood glucose. Insulin basically acts as a transport vehicle for various nutrients. When you eat something, it gets released from the pancreas, grabs hold of whatever is in your blood stream and transports it to its final destination. But when you are insulin resistant, your body’s cells do not recognize insulin. Therefore, your body needs to pump out more insulin in order for your cells to open up. Sometimes, they still won’t open up.
Therefore, you have high levels of blood glucose which can cause a host of problems for you. Most of the time, this will just get dumped into your adipocyte cells AKA increasing the amount of fat you have on your body. This is not good. Being insulin
