An Awesome Tricep Workout

By Jared DiCarmine On October 5, 2011 No Comments

If you want an awesome tricep workout then you have definitely come to the right place. A lot of guys think that to build big arms that you need big biceps, but the truth of the matter is that’s the wrong way to think about it. The biceps only makes up about 1/3 of your upper arm mass while the triceps make up 2/3 of your upper arm mass. The biceps are a puny muscle compared to the triceps and a lot weaker so it makes sense to really hit the triceps hard if you want a set of big guns. Luckily, there are plenty of exercises to get this done so your options are limitless. But if you’re going for purely athestics, you must have a balanced training program.

Best Tricep Exercises

In my opinion the best tricep exercises are any of the heavy pressing movements. The triceps are generally

Four Lower Back Strengthening Exercises

By Jared DiCarmine On October 5, 2011 No Comments

One of the most important parts of your body when it comes to stay fit and healthy is your lower back. Over 80% of the population will have some form of lower back pain at least once during their life. I personally have chronic lower back pain already in my young adult life. This was due to a tragic and freak weight lifting accident that happened from dead lifts. The injury never was properly diagnosed and therefore mistreated.

A year later, I re injured the same spot and now I have chronic lower back pain. In fact, it’s not even my lower back exactly; it’s my pelvis which gives me problems. It is actually shifted out of place slightly and now has settled in that position. Since it went a year with being misdiagnosed and mistreated, it settled into place and now it’s chronic. It really sucks. But m y point

Squats With Dumbbells – 3 Variations

By Jared DiCarmine On October 3, 2011 No Comments

If you plan on working out by yourself and in your house than most likely you won’t have access to any Olympic bars or barbells. Don’t worry because this is not a problem at all if you want to develop an awesome physique and body. All you really need is a bunch of dumbbells and what’s even better that I recommend toe everyone is picking up a set of those power blocks. They range for 5 to 95 pounds and they replace an entire set of dumbbells in one small space.

Now when it comes to lower body exercises with dumbbells, that are many variations that you can use to replace traditional squats, leg presses etc… That’s one of the great things about squats with dumbbells because there are numerous variations so you can always change things up to keep your workouts interesting and to always keep your body guessing. Get Pop Eye Arms With This Forearm Workout

By Jared DiCarmine On October 3, 2011 No Comments

Forearms are one of the most undervalued and looked over body parts when it comes to guys working out to get big and muscular. But when they are developed, they most certainly add that three dimensional aspect to your physique, especially to your upper arms. No one wants to have big upper arms with puny forearms that just don’t look natural. Now for some guys, they really don’t need to train their forearms that much, they just naturally have big forearms. This is usually because they are big boned, especially in the wrists and they also have long muscle bellies in their lower arm.

Therefore, they have more cross sectional area and more potential for growth. That’s why they can grow all by themselves and look much bigger compared to someone who wasn’t blessed in that department. Now because the forearms are a small muscle group primarily made up of small

My Favorite Two Calf Exercises

By Jared DiCarmine On October 3, 2011 No Comments

There are a lot of different and possible calf exercises that you can do to get bigger calves starting today. If you flip through any popular bodybuilding or health and fitness magazine, you’ll no doubt find a bunch of articles and pictures of guys doing different calf exercises and calf workouts. But from being in this industry for the amount of time as I have, you notice that a lot of men don’t train their calves at all. It’s almost like they are a forgotten body part, which I have no clue why. If you want an aesthetically pleasing physique then you must train your calf muscles. You don’t want to have big legs and big arms but tiny calves because that would just look embarrassing when summer time rolls around and you have to wear shorts.

Now when it comes to training your calves, there are numerous approaches that you

What Are The Best Leg Exercises?

By Jared DiCarmine On September 28, 2011 No Comments

When it comes to hitting the lower body and the best leg exercises, there can be debates that will last till the end of time on this subject. You have one side that says you must do squats no matter what and the other side that says there is no need for squats to really target the lower body. Well I’m going to tell you that both sides are correct with their statements. There is no need to get into the specifics of why, but I can tell you that the real truth when it comes to picking the best leg exercises for yourself really just comes down to your personal characteristics.

Best Leg Exercises

The truth of the matter is it depends how long you have been training for, if you have any injuries, your age, and your goals. If

Three Awesome Forearm Exercises

By Jared DiCarmine On September 28, 2011 No Comments

I remember just starting out in my fitness journey when I was just a young boy, I was absolutely obsessed with finding some of the best and most effective exercises for each body part, specifically forearm exercises because at the time I was huge into baseball and I knew the quickest way to speed up my bat and hit the ball further was to strengthen my forearms and wrists.

I was 12 years old at the time and I came across one exercise that involved a wrist roller with a string through the middle and a weight dangling at the end. I had my dad make me one of these with a broomstick and all I did everyday was do multiple sets of wrist rollers. Holding my arms out straight and flexing and extending my wrists up  and down to roll the weight up and then back down. After a few

Is It Possible To Turn Fat Into Muscle

By Jared DiCarmine On September 27, 2011 No Comments

I always get the question or the statement from people about how to turn fat into muscle or is it even possible to turn fat into muscle. Some other things I hear is how they stopped working out and then all of a sudden their muscle turned into fat. You also hear this from bodybuilders supposedly who decided to take steroids. Once they come off, they tend to lose a lot of bloat and some muscle mass if they are not careful and they automatically think it all turned into fat.

Turn Fat Into Muscle

To be honest though, this phenomenon can’t happen. It physically cannot happen the act of turning regular body fat that you see in the mirror everyday to turning it into muscle. There is just no way that the body can transform that flab into lean

How To Improve Posture Without Hurting Yourself

By Jared DiCarmine On September 26, 2011 No Comments

As you get older posture becomes one of the most important aspects of your fitness regimen. The problem is a lot of people never really understand it, take it seriously or try to work on it. I think we should be working on our posture beginning in our 20’s. There are many reasons for this, but one of them is because this is the time when young people start to join the work force.

how to improve posture

As you might know already, a lot of jobs these days that are popular with people who have college degrees require you to sit on your butt 8-10 hours a day in front of a computer screen. This is by far one of the worst things that anyone can do for their posture from head to toe. Human beings were not meant

A Very Big Thank You

By Jared DiCarmine On September 20, 2011 3 Comments

Hey hope you’re doing awesome and I’m so happy to be writing this post right now. You see I started this blog about a year a go last August not knowing where it would go, how to blog, how to write a good article, or really just anything about this whole industry. Since then there have been a lot of ups and downs. If you have been a reader for a long time then you’ll remember the old blog layout. It was old and boring looking. It was all black with some red and yellows thrown in. No graphics and no real personality. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if you didn’t remember it cause the look and layout completely sucked.

After a few  months I got wise and decided to change the entire look and layout so me and my good friend worked non stop for almost 16 hours at
