Inner Thigh Exercises That You Can Do At Home

Inner thigh exercises can be a god send for some women and help them firm up that annoying trouble area. The reason why they are a problem area is because they are hard to hit and focus on.

This is because you either don’t belong to a gym with one of those abductor, adductor machines or you just are not sure what inner thigh exercises you can do with the equipment you have.

Don’t worry though because this is what this article is all about. I am going to outline 2 inner thigh exercises that you can do in the comfort of your own home with OR without equipment.

I personally feel that they target the inner thighs much better than the abductor, adductor machine because it’s  a more natural movement and the load that you can use is much higher.

The first exercise is sumo squats. Sumo squats are great not just for the inside part of your thighs, but for your butt as well. Simply take a normal then wider stance with your feet and toes pointed slightly outward. From there, perform a basic squat resting your weight on your heels. You can use  dumbbells if you’d like by holding them in the middle for added resistance.

The second exercise I want you to do is step ups. Grab a bench or make those step ups that you see at most gyms that they use in step class. Make sure the bench or step is medium to high in height.

Put your right or left food on the bench and simply step up. When you come back down, keep that same foot on the bench and perform another rep. The reason why I want you to use a higher than normal step is because the increased range of motion really hits your inner thighs. Not many people realize this, but it’s a great way to target that problem area.

For each exercise, perform 4 sets of 15 repetitions. Feel free to do this program 3 times a week.
