Joel Marion’s Xtreme Fat Loss Diet 2.0
So it looks like the 1 year anniversary of Joel Marion’s Xtreme Fat Loss Diet is upon us and it’s time to release the 2.0 version. If you’re wondering what the Xtreme Fat Loss Diet is, it’s an entire fat loss system that he developed allowing you to literally cheat on your diet every 5 days. Yes, I said it. Cheat on your diet by eating pizza, cookies, candy or cake.
So you’re probably wondering if Joel went off his rocker? Well not really, but you have to be a little bit in order to come up with this fat loss program.
You see, the main problem for people when they lose weight is that they end up hitting a plateau. The scale in the morning slowly comes to a screeching halt as time goes by. Usually you end up cutting your calories even more or you exercise more. This is a big no no. All you are doing is forcing your body to hold on to it’s precious fat stores even MORE. Your body does not care if you want a tight, firm, and toned stomach or arms that you can proudly show off in your cut off t-shirts.
All your body wants to do is survive, so when you cut your calories, over time your metabolism will slow down. This usually takes, according to research about 5-7 days. However, by “strategically cheating” on your diet, you can increase your metabolism back up to baseline levels. Essentially, you will be burning fat non stop for as long as you need to as if it was day 1 of your diet.
By cheating on your diet you are manipulating a hormone called leptin and that is what’s responsible for your metabolism slowing down when you go on a reduced calorie diet. Leptin is correlated with your metabolism.
Now you can’t just go and have any type of cheat meal. It needs to specifically contain a high amount of calories, carbohydrates and fats. This has been shown to produce the highest insulin release which you need to increase your leptin levels.
I personally am using this system of strategic cheating right now and have my cheat meal every Saturday. This past weekend I ate Chinese Food and a whole pint of Ben & Jerry’s. The cool part is I’m still burning body fat at an intense rate because of this cheat meal. I’ve never done this in the past and the results are pretty amazing.
One tip that I can give you though is to have your cheat meal as the last meal at night. This is to ensure you don’t constantly graze through out the day. For example, if you were to have your cheat meal in the morning, you would stand a higher chance of getting hungry later in the day and having another cheat meal. This could screw up your entire week’s worth of fat loss. You only want to save it for one meal and that’s why I suggest you do it on a weekend and at night.
Another cool thing I found from using this fat loss protocol is that it helps me stick to my diet better during the week. When I know my cheat meal is right around the corner, it forces those cravings out of my mind because I know when Saturday comes, I can go crazy and give in without having to feel guilty or depressed.
This whole cheat on your diet and lose weight is an awesome way to burn belly fat while still being able to enjoy the foods you love. I wouldn’t have it any other way and I feel this future of the fat loss industry. It’s just a matter of time before it catches on and more people know about this type of method.
